Job Summary
Execute active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing and support production activities in a lab-based cGMP environment. Adhere to GMP requirements defined in 21 CFR parts 210 & 211, 820, and ICH Q7 while ensuring safety and cleanliness during equipment cleaning, setup, and verification tasks. Operate production equipment for API and intermediate production, update batch records and operating procedures, and communicate shift status via pass-off tools. Address safety and process issues identified during inspections and audits promptly while handling potent compounds and hazardous materials. Work Thursday-Sunday 6:30pm-7:00am and Friday-Sunday 6:30pm-7:00am in a collaborative multi-shift environment. Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, or analytical lab experience
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds with the assistance of equipment or teammates as necessary
- Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, lab coats, and full-body protection
- Work with highly potent/hazardous materials and understanding chemical hazards
- Work in Class 1 / Div 2 areas and near moving mechanical parts
- Operate hand tools, calculators, and weighing/measuring devices
