Job Summary
Execute equipment cleaning, setup, and maintenance while verifying GMP manufacturing activities for active pharmaceutical ingredients. Operate production equipment, maintain safety and quality in production areas, and update batch records and operating procedures. Serve as a primary or secondary operator for cGMP production of APIs and intermediates, communicating status via shift tools and addressing safety issues promptly. Work Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-7:00am in a collaborative environment. Adhere to 21 CFR, ISO, and ICH standards while handling potent compounds with proper PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, or analytical lab experience
- Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-7:00am
- Monday-Wednesday 6:30pm-7:00am
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds with the assistance of equipment or teammates as necessary
- Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, lab coats, and full-body protection
- Work with highly potent/hazardous materials and understanding chemical hazards
- Work in Class 1 / Div 2 areas and near moving mechanical parts
- Operate hand tools, calculators, and weighing/measuring devices
