Pharma Packaging Technician – 2nd shift 2:00pm – 10:30pm Monday - Friday

Job Summary
Operate assigned pharmaceutical packaging equipment, including PLC-controlled lines and vision systems, while performing setup, disassembly, and material handling tasks. Maintain accurate documentation of batch records, timecards, and logbooks, and apply proper housekeeping and metric system calculations to all processes. Adhere strictly to SOPs and cGMPs, utilizing lock-out/tag-out procedures and personal protective equipment. Monitor production flow to identify out-of-spec material and stop processes for anomalies, communicating effectively with peers and supervisors. Requires 2nd shift hours Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, with overtime and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- 6-12 months of experience
- able to read and interpret procedures
- ability to apply general math skills
- basic understanding of mechanical skills
- used various hand tools
- Meets the physical requirements of the job
- Apply good lifting techniques
- routine lifting of 20-40 lbs.
- occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime
- Ability to move up and down stairs/ladders
- Possess or obtain authorization to work in the US

Desired Qualifications
- Technical school certificate
- 1-2 yrs. college
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with vision systems
- Experience with robotic fillers
- Knowledge of P.C. using Windows based applications
