Job Summary
Field-based Rare Endocrine Therapy Manager in the Northern Plains responsible for representing Novo Nordisk to endocrinology accounts and thought-leaders, maximizing sales and promoting Growth Disorders products. Develops strategically targeted, account-specific business plans; engages healthcare professionals through EDGE Engagement Model; builds meaningful relationships with external stakeholders; coordinates with Field Reimbursement Managers, Marketing, and Market Access to drive results; travels 50-75% overnight; requires a valid driver’s license and a bachelor’s degree; seeks to exceed sales goals in a multistate territory with strong communication, collaboration, and strategic planning skills.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum five (5) years pharmaceutical / healthcare sales (Endocrinology / Growth Disorders product experience preferred) OR a minimum five (5) years relevant experience in endocrinology
- Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional results in rare disease or equivalent complex therapeutic area
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with customers and relevant stakeholders
- Experience coordinating and collaborating with other field and cross-functional colleagues to drive results
- Ability balancing the complexity of travel requirements in a multistate territory, while managing business needs of accounts to drive performance
