Job Summary
Director-level IT leadership role directing IT supply chain and manufacturing systems for pharmaceutical launches. Owns ERP/MES/LIMS/WMS roadmaps, data migration, master data governance, and integration architecture to enable new product launches in a GxP-regulated environment. Partners with Regulatory Affairs, QA, and Commercial teams to align manufacturing scale-up timelines with approvals. Leads staged launch readiness reviews, develops reporting for launch KPIs, and drives adoption of advanced analytics and AI/ML to improve forecast accuracy and supply risk. Requires deep pharma domain knowledge, experience delivering large-scale enterprise IT programs, and ability to manage cross-functional teams and budgets. The role emphasizes GMP/compliance (GxP, CSV/CSA, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11) and cybersecurity considerations across supply chain and manufacturing IT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 12+ years IT experience with 7+ years in supply chain/manufacturing systems in pharma or life sciences
- Minimum 5 years in a director-level IT leadership role with cross-functional program management
- Experience leading IT workstreams for at least 2-3 commercial pharmaceutical product launches (ERP readiness, system validation, launch cutover)
- Proven track record delivering large-scale ERP/MES/supply chain planning system implementations in GxP-regulated environments
- Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle), MES (Rockwell PharmaSuite, Siemens Opcenter, Werum PAS-X), LIMS (LabVantage, LabWare), and WMS
- Familiarity with serialization platforms (TraceLink, rfxcel), API/ETL data integration, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Understanding of CSV/CSA, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11 / EU Annex 11
- Experience with CMOs/CDMOs in pharma manufacturing IT
- Strong leadership and executive communication competencies
