Job Summary
Engineer and characterize cell lines using CRISPR or viral delivery systems while maintaining and culturing various cell lines. Design and execute experiments integrating biochemical and cell-based approaches, applying assays such as binding studies, RT-qPCR, and western blotting to support target validation. Contribute to experimental design, data interpretation, and troubleshooting while preparing technical reports and scientific presentations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including structural biology, molecular biology, and biophysics. This day shift position (8a-5p local time) requires a Ph.D. in Cell Biology or related fields with strong hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular assays.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, molecular biology or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience
- Strong hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture
- Strong hands-on experience with cell-based assays
- Strong hands-on experience with biochemistry/molecular biology assays
- Experience with ligand binding assays
- Experience with ELISA
- Attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis software
- Experience with GraphPad Prism
- Experience with ImageJ
