Job Summary
Lead moderately complex stand-alone projects from start to finish, managing multiple field supervisors, scheduling, production, safety, and quality while identifying and mitigating risks. Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed operations, coordinate site logistics, and execute daily standups, weekly trade meetings, and project review presentations. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and programs including Safety, Quality, and EEO; oversee budget tracking, cost code reporting, and material procurement through Dunn Logistics Service Center. Collaborate with marketing to cultivate client relationships and generate new business opportunities, while ensuring compliance with owner and subcontractor contracts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted drivers license
- Must be able to lift at least to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs
- 8+ years construction experience
- 5+ years field supervision experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Preferred)
- Experience with Lean principles (Preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate)
- Proficiency in project management and accounting software (Intermediate)
- Proficiency in required JE Dunn construction technology (Intermediate)
- Proficiency in scheduling software (Intermediate)
- Ability to apply Lean process and philosophy (Intermediate)
- Knowledge of specific trades and scopes of work (Intermediate)
- Knowledge of self-perform and labor productivity (Intermediate)
- Knowledge of layout skill (Advanced)
- Knowledge of crane flagging and rigging (Advanced)
- Ability to understand document changes and impact to the project schedule
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
- Communication skills, verbal and written (Intermediate)
- Ability to conduct effective presentations (Intermediate)
- Knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project
- Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management to projects
- Ability to manage budgets, maximize profitability and generate future work through building relationships (Intermediate)
- Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources
Desired Qualifications
