Job Summary
Operate batch and continuous reactors, high pressure systems, centrifuges, and distillation equipment while monitoring valves, vacuums, and pressures to maintain proper process control. Clean all equipment following designated procedures, troubleshoot production line problems, and perform laboratory tests on process samples for quality control analysis. Handle hazardous materials safely, complete operation log books, and take samples for in-process analysis. Assist in training new operators, writing SOPs, and implementing process changes while adhering to EPA, FDA, and cGMP regulations. Complete required permits for line entry, confined spaces, and hot work. Report to the shift supervisor with a high school diploma and three years of manufacturing experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment or related business
