Receive prescription requests and accurately enter them into the computer database. Prepare medications for dispensing following pharmacy protocols and profile prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist customers and patients at the cash register while collaborating with insurance companies to resolve billing and coverage issues. Communicate with referring physicians' offices to clarify prescription details or resolve questions. Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock accordingly under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, or Pharmacy Technician Lead.
