Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized service, offer immunizations and other register services, and escalate problems as needed. Complete basic inventory tasks like putting away deliveries and cycle counts, while maintaining strict compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances and patient privacy. Obtain required state licensure and certification to perform duties, with initial responsibilities potentially restricted until training is finished. Work flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and travel to other stores in the market as business needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
