Job Summary
Establish and standardize iPSC differentiation protocols into hematopoietic precursors and effector cells like NK and T-cells. Develop and scale adherent cultures into feeder-free suspension processes using bioreactors up to 50 L. Evaluate external iPSC lines for clonal stability and Freedom-to-Operate in collaboration with academic partners. Translate processes into GMP-compliant manufacturing workflows, including Master Cell Bank establishment and characterization. Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance platform efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium mit Promotion (Ph.D.) in Zellbiologie, Biotechnologie, Immunologie, Bioengineering oder einer vergleichbaren Disziplin
- Tiefgreifende, praktische 'Hands-on'-Erfahrung im Umgang mit menschlichen pluripotenten Stammzellen (hESCs/iPSCs) und deren gerichteter Differenzierung
- Nachweisbare Erfahrung im Scale-up von Säugerzellkulturen
- Starkes Verständnis für die Anforderungen der GMP-gerechten Herstellung von Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), zellulären Qualitätskontrollen
- sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Desired Qualifications
- idealerweise im Bereich Hämatopoese / Immunzellen
- idealerweise Erfahrung in der Erstellung von Master Cell Banks
