Job Summary
Seasonal pH Clerk responsible for monitoring and controlling pH levels in cannery processes, logging data, generating daily reports, and ensuring safe, precise chemical handling. Requires attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work on-site in Modesto, CA during the harvest season with potential six-day weeks and two shift options; on-site role with responsibilities including monitoring pH, adjusting chemical pumps, data logging in Excel, and maintaining equipment. Preferred science background and one or more years of college experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Communicate, read, and write effectively
- Proficient Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures
- Verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within the team
- Must be able to work any shift and up to six (6) days per week during Harvest Season
- Have one or more years of college experience
- Have a strong background in science (preferably chemistry)
