Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive underwriting, financial modeling, and credit analysis to assess risk, return, and capital structure for private credit investments across the Midwest. Prepare investment committee materials and support presentations while coordinating transaction execution with internal stakeholders and external advisors. Monitor an active portfolio of private credit investments, including financial performance, liquidity, and key credit metrics, and assist with quarterly valuations and portfolio reviews. This hybrid role requires on-site presence three times a week in Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, direct lending, or mezzanine investing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively in a team environment, and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and credit fundamentals
- Excellent analytical, writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, where the team is on-site 3 times a week
Desired Qualifications
- Recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered
- Prior exposure to private credit investing, including investment execution or ongoing portfolio oversight
- Participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) program
