PGD Sr. Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst within the Controller Organization, supporting the Controller function through financial analysis, accounting operations, and reporting. Responsible for month-end close activities including accruals, journal entries, capital accounting, and tracking catastrophe insurance, with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Collaborates across multiple business units to prepare and report on O&M and capital budgeting, cash flow, and forecasting; leads annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasts and ensures accurate financial results presented to non-financial audiences. Provides financial leadership to Operations, supports new lines of business, performs variance analysis and cost accounting (standard cost, activity-based costing, inventory control), and drives process improvements using Six Sigma. Maintains internal controls, identifies weaknesses, and communicates results; supports reporting on productivity, capital and overhead spending, and inventory and operations planning. Develops broad technical and communication skills and communicates performance through P&L analysis; plans, schedules, and coordinates activities in alignment with corporate policy and objectives.
