Job Summary
Asset Manager role managing cylinder assets and inventory at Air Liquide Malaysia. Responsibilities include conducting customer site audits, investigating holding discrepancies, tracking KPIs such as cylinder rotation and product code consistency, overseeing the GTS tracking system (registration, troubleshooting, user training), coordinating cylinder maintenance and retesting, and driving value initiatives, safety compliance, and root-cause investigations. Key skills include inventory data management (master data, product codes), KPI reporting, Excel analysis, supplier coordination for inspections and permits, procurement workflow (Capex requests), and ensuring asset utilization while adhering to safety standards. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with ability to travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience; candidates with an industrial gas background are highly preferred
- Strong background in inventory management, with experience in the industrial gas industry is added advantage
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as required
