Job Summary
PFR Assembler responsible for building PFR hoist sub-assemblies and chaining, assembling components such as hooks, load limiters, chain bags, crossbars, and gears, and performing testing and inspection of hoists. Duties include operating power tools and machinery (PFR chain cutter, battery-powered drills, testing equipment), auditing Bill of Materials for accuracy, testing hoists for conformance and documenting inspection reports, maintaining a clean organized work area, and preparing shipping crates as needed. Must be able to read and interpret instructions, perform basic math, and communicate professionally. Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs single-handedly and up to 80 lbs with a second person; flexible to train others and operate data entry on CMBIS.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience
- No High School Diploma or GED Required
- Ability to read and interpret written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8”
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds single handedly, up to 80 pounds with assistance
