Job Summary
Coordinate and advance EKI's national PFAS practice by integrating technical capabilities, fostering knowledge sharing, and developing training programs. Lead strategic pursuits by preparing major proposals, evaluating data, and communicating findings to clients and regulators on complex investigation projects. Develop client-specific strategies to expand opportunities while monitoring emerging regulations to identify innovative service offerings and strategic partnerships. Strengthen external visibility through technical publications, presentations, and regulatory engagement. Serve as a catalyst for collaboration across practitioners and project teams to position EKI as a recognized leader in PFAS consulting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant environmental and PFAS consulting experience
- Professional Engineer license in the State of California or be able to obtain license following employment
- Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and expand services within the environmental consulting industry
- Excellent client management skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships
- Proven track record managing complex environmental projects involving regulatory compliance and stakeholder coordination
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing high-quality technical reports, proposals, and client deliverables, and the ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public
- Must have ability to lead multiple project teams
- Must have demonstrated time management skills, strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must have a demonstrated commitment to personal and professional growth, including the mentorship of others
- Must have a current valid driver's license
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high-volume workload and frequent short deadlines
- Must have the ability to obtain medical clearance to work on hazardous waste site(s)
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to work remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information
- Must be able to assess the accuracy, quality and thoroughness of the work assigned
- Must be able to travel occasionally, possibly overnight for customer meetings and site visits up to 20% of the time

- Master's degree preferred
- Established relationships with regulatory agencies, industry organizations, and/or key industrial clients
