PF - Linguist - CAT III - Persian-Farsi - FGGA

Provide foreign language support services including transcription and translation/interpretation of non-technical material for military interrogations, intelligence collection, and operational missions. Deliver cultural and ethnic context with expert linguist opinions on terms, phrases, or statements having multiple valid interpretations. Perform document exploitation, scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents and intercepted data to extract information meeting military requirements, supplementing interpretations with knowledge in medicine, science, engineering, or legal fields. Must be a US Citizen with at least two years of interpretation/translation experience and ILR level 3 proficiency in both Persian and English. Requires in-depth geopolitical knowledge and document exploitation skills.
