Job Summary
Petroleum Technician in the Construction and Contracting Division; on-site role traveling to remote sites. Responsibilities include preparing construction sites with materials, tools, and equipment; completing tasks efficiently; following instructions and using tools; adhering to health and safety regulations and PPE; assisting foreman, supervisors, and crew; maintaining and storing equipment; qualifications include 2+ years of field experience with petroleum equipment systems, experience on construction sites, knowledge of piping, spill/overfill and containment systems, monitoring and fuel management systems; OSHA 10 or HAZWOPER preferred; ability to travel and work at remote sites; local and extended travel required; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screen and physical; US citizen or legally authorized to work without sponsorship; compensation: $25.00-$35.00 hourly with prevailing wage and benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision/life insurance, FSA, PTO, holidays and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ field experience with petroleum equipment systems is required
- Experience in construction sites and ability to follow and demonstrate basic safety principles
- Experience with piping systems, spill, overfill and secondary containment systems
- Knowledge of monitoring systems, and fuel management systems
- At least 18 years old
- Construction OSHA 10 or OSHA HAZWOPER Certification is preferred
- The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed
- Local and extended travel is required
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screen and physical
- Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
