Job Summary
Perform fuel containment, equipment integrity, and leak-detection tests at retail, commercial, and private facilities to prevent non-compliance or equipment failure. Conduct site inspections against regulations and customer requirements, providing unbiased, fact-based results and correction advice to partners. Train specialists and laborers while managing safety protocols, including inspecting personal protective equipment and stopping unsafe work. Utilize mobile devices to plan, track, and document job data, vehicle maintenance, and personnel status. Maintain HAZWOPER 40 certification and state-issued UST Inspector licenses; work overnight over 50% of the time with 24-7 on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 4+ years of experience in the petroleum equipment field or in a related area
- HAZWOPER 40 certification
- State-issued UST Inspector licenses
- Ability to travel overnight over 50%
- Ability to be on-call 24-7 for emergency response on a rotational basis
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, and grasp
- Knowledge and experience with computer programs (PowerApps, Outlook)
Desired Qualifications
- CDL-B or A license with hazardous waste endorsement
- Manufacturer's certifications for Automated Tank Gauges, Submersible Turbine Pumps, Pressurized/Mechanical/Electronic line-leak detection
