Job Summary
Install and remove underground storage tanks, operate excavation equipment, and install piping and monitoring systems at commercial sites. Read blueprints, collect soil samples, and complete daily reports while adhering to OSHA, EPA, and state safety regulations. Maintain organized job sites and assist with fuel line testing. Requires 3–5 years of petroleum construction experience, valid driver's license, and ability to pass physical and drug screening. Steady, year-round work with regional travel; offers $26–$32/hr, company truck, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of petroleum construction, UST installation/removal, or fuel system installation experience
- Experience operating excavation equipment safely and efficiently
- Working knowledge of underground fuel systems, piping, tank components, and containment systems
- Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and construction specifications
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety practices and job site procedures
- Experience working independently while contributing to a construction crew
- Willingness to travel regionally as project needs require
- Must be 21+ years old
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record for the past five years
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check
- If the position is classified as safety-sensitive, requires the applicant to pass a comprehensive drug test, including screening for marijuana
