Job Summary

Petroleum Construction Technician responsible for site walks, setting up/removing structures and tools, operating hand tools and equipment, installing petroleum components (drop tubes, risers, fuel lines, spill buckets), pouring/finishing concrete, loading/unloading materials, testing and maintaining fuel lines and tanks, conducting site inspections for regulatory and customer requirements, maintaining a safe/organized work site, and supporting skilled trades while adhering to safety procedures. Requires high school diploma, Colorado QST certification, construction/petroleum experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel; offers full-time employment with competitive pay and benefits including 401(k) with match, PTO, company truck, gas card, cell phone, and laptop.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Colorado Qualified Service Technician (QST) certification
  • Experience in construction, petroleum systems, or mechanical/electrical services
  • Prior experience with fuel dispensers, pumps, hydraulic equipment, or in the petroleum construction industry is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical with lifting up to 75 lbs, twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check

Desired Qualifications

  • Colorado Qualified Service Technician (QST) certification
  • Experience in construction, petroleum systems, or mechanical/electrical services
  • Prior experience with fuel dispensers, pumps, hydraulic equipment, or in the petroleum construction industry is a plus
  • Strong physical stamina (lifting up to 75 lbs)
  • Ability to operate construction tools and machinery
  • Teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
