Job Summary
Provide grooming services and consultations for dogs and cats, perform bathing, trimming, nail care, parasite checks, maintain grooming area, greet guests, grow customer base, cross-sell services, and comply with company grooming standards. Must have one-year related experience or training, be customer-service oriented with strong verbal communication, handle a variety of breeds/sizes safely, stay organized and reliable, and be able to pass a criminal background check. Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times; located in Houston, TX at Pet Paradise locations.
Required Qualifications
- One-year related experience and/or training
- Customer service oriented and excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be familiar with standard cuts for all breeds and be able to handle a variety of sizes of canines and felines safely and comfortably
- Great work ethic, organized, reliable, and a team player
- Must maintain a clean and healthy environment for ‘guests’
- Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
