Job Summary
Pet Playtime Coordinator responsible for supervising and managing daytime dog playgroups at the Dripping Springs resort. duties include interacting with and monitoring dogs in play areas (play-yard and pool), maintaining visual observation to ensure safe play, minimizing stress and managing aggressive or unusual behaviors, following management procedures and proper dog-handling techniques, and assisting with cleaning and play-yard maintenance. Requires excellent customer service, a genuine love for animals, ability to work in various weather conditions, capacity to handle dogs of all sizes (lifting up to 60 lbs), and flexibility to work a resort schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak times.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- True passion for working with animals
- Ability to work in all-weather conditions (heat and humidity); exposed to pool water
- Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, push and grasp
- Flexibility to work resort schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
