Job Summary
Pet Paradise is seeking a Playtime Coordinator for our Chattanooga resort to organize and manage daytime dog playgroups. Responsibilities include interacting with and monitoring dogs in play areas, maintaining visual observation of dogs, minimizing stress and managing play levels, following management procedures for safe dog handling, and assisting with cleaning and play-yard maintenance. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service and organizational skills, a true passion for working with animals, the ability to work in all-weather conditions, comfort around dogs of all sizes, and the physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times is required. Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- True passion for working with animals
- Ability to work in all-weather conditions (heat and humidity); will be exposed to pool water
- Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to work under conditions that require sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing and grasping
- Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
