Job Summary
Supervise, control, and manage group play while maintaining a fun, safe, and enriching environment for all canine guests. Build individual relationships with dogs, providing daily personalized report cards summarizing their day. Monitor play styles and interactions, provide enrichment, clean, keep records, and complete health checks including body, ear, gum, and paw inspections. Handle dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds, ensuring high sanitation standards. Work hands-on, on your feet for long periods, managing large playgroups and adapting to change.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age!
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, email, etc)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personality types
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering in either kennel, shelter, rescue, or veterinary facility
