Job Summary
Maintain, repair, and test mechanical equipment and components in a 12-hour rotating shift environment at Pilgrim’s. Read and interpret drawings to properly adjust and service machinery; diagnose problems with production and communicate with management. Perform preventive maintenance, manage inventory and parts in the SAP/S4 system, create requisitions and log PO issues, and train others on the S4 program. Must have 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 70 lbs and perform physical tasks in varied conditions. Shift coverage includes 2nd and 3rd shifts with potential weekend work.EOE including disability/vets.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
- General mathematic ability
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
- Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
- Complete computer-based skills test with a score of 80 or greater which will determine level
- Extensive knowledge of SAP program
- Extensive knowledge of 6S program and inventory management
