Job Summary
Pet Food Maintenance role at Pilgrim’s requires constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment; identifying parts or machines needing replacement; interpreting drawings; performing preventive maintenance; responding to production requests to diagnose and repair issues; coordinating with production management to diagnose problems; maintaining SAP S4 program and inventory; scheduling PMs and tracking maintenance costs. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of SAP, ability to read drawings, and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (2nd and 3rd). EO E, including disability/vets; 12-hour rotating shifts; shift work; 2nd/3rd shifts; location Russellville, AL.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Basic math ability
- Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
- Complete computer-based skills test with a score of 80 or greater
- Extensive knowledge of SAP program
- Extensive knowledge of 6S program and inventory management
