Job Summary
Conduct patient safety screenings for contraindications and aseptic injections while adhering to radiation safety regulations. Produce high-quality diagnostic images by interpreting physician orders and selecting appropriate imaging parameters. Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists to ensure comfort and explain procedures. Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment, including monitors and PACS systems. Train new technologists and PC's as needed. Work flexible part-time shifts across freestanding outpatient centers, mobile coaches, or hospital-based facilities in Leonardtown, MD.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- State license, as required
- CPR certification
- As applicable, valid state driver's license
- Ability to work at several locations
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Equivalent
- 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies
