Job Summary
Install, calibrate, and maintain PET/CT imaging equipment; troubleshoot imaging-system issues and conduct quality assurance tests to ensure safety standards; collaborate with clinical staff to optimize imaging protocols and workflows; provide technical training and support to medical personnel on equipment usage; document service activities and maintain accurate maintenance records; stay updated on industry advancements and integrate new technologies; participate in on-call rotations to support emergency service needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PET/CT imaging systems
- Strong understanding of imaging physics and safety regulations
- Certification in medical imaging technology is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel for training and service support as needed
