Job Summary
The Pet Consultant is responsible for selling Invisible Fence® Brand solutions, services, and products through in-home and virtual sales presentations. The role involves meeting or exceeding sales targets, conducting consultations, negotiating contracts, and maintaining customer relationships. Candidates must possess exceptional communication skills, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma. Additionally, they should have two years of experience in sales, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and have technical skills to use electronic devices for training and reporting. The work environment includes outdoor conditions, and consultants will interact closely with pets and customers.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in the sales field or related area
- Valid driver’s license, clear driving record and driving skills
- Outstanding verbal, written and listening communications skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as training manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and sales/service contracts
- Ability to perform well under pressure and time constraints
- Strong leadership and financial planning skills
