Job Summary
The Wooflands Pet Care Supervisor oversees daily operations of Nemacolin's pet care facility, combining hands-on animal care with team leadership, operational oversight, and elevated guest engagement to maintain Forbes Five-Star standards. Responsibilities include supervising Pet Care Associates, leading shift operations, training on animal handling and safety protocols, managing group play by size/temperament, ensuring high standards of sanitation and facility presentation, delivering proactive guest communication, resolving guest concerns with professionalism, managing check-in/check-out and pet care records, overseeing inventory and incident documentation, and enforcing safety and compliance protocols. Required experience includes 2–4 years in pet care or related services with at least 1 year in a supervisory role; strong canine behavior knowledge; leadership, communication, and guest-centric service; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; flexible, weekend/holiday availability. Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in pet care, animal services, veterinary support, or dog daycare, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
