Job Summary
Provide in-home pet care including dog walking and pet sitting for dogs, cats, and other small animals. Duties include visiting clients' homes, exercising dogs, feeding and providing fresh water, letting out for bathroom breaks, and cleaning up after animals; may involve medicating and litter box care. Leave notes after each visit to update clients. Flexible schedule with part-time to full-time opportunities; hourly pay plus mileage and tips, with some positions offering per-visit pay. Training and development opportunities include 2-3 paid certification programs. Benefits include outdoor activity, dedication to animal welfare, and supportive team environment. Locations: Cranston, Warwick, and Providence, RI. Requirements include own transportation, a smartphone, ability to pass a background check, and strong communication/customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experience with cats/other small animals
- Own transportation, smartphone, daily internet access
- Pass background check
- Able to work part-time with potential to move to full-time
- Reliable schedule with availability in at least 2 of 4 time frames (morning, afternoon, evening, night)
