Job Summary
Pet Care Specialist responsibilities include dog walking, pet sitting, and in-home care visits. Duties involve visiting clients’ homes to care for their companions, walking and exercising dogs, feeding and providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals, and leaving notes for clients after each visit. The role requires experience with dogs and/or cats/small animals, reliable transportation, a smartphone, independent work, and strong customer-service skills. The position offers flexible scheduling (part-time with potential progression to full-time), hourly pay plus mileage and tips, and options for per-visit pay. Certifications and continuing education opportunities are available. Location is Coventry, RI; duties are performed at client locations with eligibility for mileage reimbursement and occasional certifications paid through the program.
Required Qualifications
