Job Summary
Engage hands-on in the health and wellness of canine and feline guests by preparing meals, delivering enrichment activities like nature trail walks and off-leash play, and maintaining detailed observations for each pet. Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of facilities and pet areas while ensuring safety around dogs and cats of all sizes. Maintain English literacy for documentation and communication. Requires weekend and holiday availability with shifts ranging from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Starting pay is $16.00-$17.50/hour. Comprehensive hands-on training provided with potential to transition to full-time roles offering medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Comfort and confidence walking and handling dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties related to animal care
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift/push/pull/move up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
