Job Summary
The Seasonal Pet Care Lead is responsible for caring for pets in a facility, ensuring they are comfortable, happy, and receive all requested services. Responsibilities include monitoring health and wellness, feeding and medicating guests, maintaining cleanliness, exercising dogs, and basic grooming tasks. Candidates should have a genuine love for animals, good dog handling skills, the ability to work as a team member, and flexibility. Experience in a pet care environment is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Good physical condition, able to squat, stoop, bend, lift, and walk throughout the shift
- Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather and temperatures
