Job Summary
Provide attentive daily care for hospitalized and boarding pets by walking dogs, feeding animals, and maintaining clean kennel areas. Monitor pets for changes in behavior or condition and communicate concerns to the veterinary team. Interact with clients in a friendly, compassionate manner while following hospital protocols to ensure a safe environment. Work independently to complete assigned responsibilities and support teammates wherever needed. This role offers full-time employment at $16–$18 per hour, including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a customer-service environment
- A genuine love of animals and commitment to their well-being
- A caring, patient, and compassionate attitude
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills
- Dependability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout your shift
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
