Job Summary
Provide compassionate daily care for boarding and hospitalized patients by feeding them, monitoring appetites and behavior, and bathing or brushing as needed. Clean and sanitize cages, runs, litter boxes, food and water bowls, and hospital areas while maintaining laundry for the kennel. Assist doctors and technicians with patient restraint and medication administration as directed, collect urine and fecal samples, and report unusual patient behavior to the veterinary team. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance protocols to keep the facility organized. Must be at least 16 years old and available to work weekends and holidays.

- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to lift and carry animals, supplies, and food bags with assistance when needed
- Genuine compassion for animals and the people who love them
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to stay productive and prioritize tasks throughout the workday
- Comfort working in a busy environment with barking dogs and active hospital activity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, flexibility, and willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Animal care experience is a plus, but not required
