Job Summary
Pest & Wildlife Technicians provide pest control services to residential and commercial customers, including exclusion services, animal removal, inspections, trapping, baiting, light carpentry, roof-access tasks, crawl-space vapor barrier installation, crawl-space insulation removal and installation, crawl-space debris removal, and attic disinfections. Responsibilities include inspecting properties for wildlife and rodent damage, advising on solutions to maximize client value and satisfaction, building internal and external relationships, and operating and maintaining the service vehicle and equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, construction experience, ability to set live traps, ladder/harness experience, knowledge of construction types, strong customer-service background, detail orientation, organizational skills, reliability, leadership ability, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain licenses/certificates as required. Availability to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed. This is a full-time position within the Rentokil family offering day-one benefits and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months related construction experience
- Ability to set live traps
- Previous ladder and/or harness work experience
- Have a good understanding of different construction types
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Organized
- Punctual
- Ability to lead others
- Must be able to pull a 7x14 enclosed trailer
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
- Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
