Job Summary
Pest Technician responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems, selecting effective extermination methods (pesticides, mechanical traps, blockages, etc.), and providing recommendations to prevent future infestations. Role includes building new business through on-site customer interactions, managing schedules/routes to ensure timely service, and following safety procedures when using fumigants and spraying equipment. Offers on-the-job training, professional development, company vehicle, benefits, and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's License with clean driving record
- Willingness to obtain Applicator's License
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Customer service experience
- Sales experience an asset
- Experience in route sales/field service considered
- Experience in service technician or territory representation roles considered
