Pest Technician Trainee

Job Summary
Pest Technician Trainee responsible for performing residential pest management services, including thorough inspections to identify infestations, applying approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) with adherence to safety standards, educating customers on prevention, and supporting appointment scheduling and sales to existing customers. Role requires maintenance of pest control equipment, compliance with local/state/federal regulations, and operation of a company vehicle. Must be prepared to work indoors/outdoors in varying climates, wear PPE, and meet pre-employment background checks; valid driver’s license and licenses/certifications as required by regulations. Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow within the Rentokil family of companies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Pre-employment background check
- Possess licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations
- Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to follow product labels and safety instructions
- Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
