Job Summary
Pest Control Technician role performing residential pest management: conduct thorough inspections to identify pest infestations, determine infestation type, apply approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) while following safety standards, educate customers on prevention, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, maintain equipment, and comply with local/state/federal regulations. Requires ability to work in various spaces (basements, attics, crawl spaces), operate in outdoor/indoor environments, wear PPE, and have strong reading/writing/communication and basic math skills. High school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required; Licenses/certifications as needed by regulations. Full-time position with Rentokil benefits and a safety-focused culture.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- related experience and/or training in pest control or closely related fields
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
