Pest Technician

Job Summary
Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to identify pest infestations, entry points, and damage. Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while adhering to safety standards and operating in tight, confined spaces. Educate customers on prevention methods and maintain company equipment, ensuring all local, state, and federal regulations are followed. Schedule and confirm appointments, drive the provided service vehicle, and build relationships to expand product offerings. Work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed, wearing PPE and operating in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
- Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Clean shaven face
- Ability to work both inside and outside in local climate
- Ability to work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Ability to work around animals, insects and termites
- Ability to work around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding
- Ability to work around fumes, dust, and chemicals
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Ability to regularly sit, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
