Job Summary
Pest Control Technician responsible for delivering residential pest management services. Responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections to identify signs of pest infestations, determining the type of infestation, applying approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) while adhering to safety standards, and educating customers on prevention methods. The role also involves scheduling and confirming appointments, assisting with sales to current customers, maintaining equipment, and complying with local, state, and federal regulations. Must be able to drive a company vehicle, work both indoors and outdoors, and operate in varied environments with PPE as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver’s license
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
- Ability to perform pest inspection, identify signs of infestations, and apply pest control products
- Ability to adhere to safety regulations and use PPE
