Pest Control Technician

Job Summary
Pest Control Technician responsible for performing residential pest management services: conduct thorough inspections to identify signs of infestation, determine pest type, apply approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) while adhering to safety standards, and educate customers on prevention. Responsibilities include scheduling and confirming appointments, assisting with sales to current customers, maintaining equipment, and complying with local, state, and federal regulations. Requires ability to work in varied environments, wear PPE, and operate a company vehicle. High school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license required; relevant training and licenses as per regulations are provided by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
- Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
- Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills — You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Customer-facing experience preferred
