Job Summary
Pest Control Technician responsible for delivering residential pest management services: conduct thorough inspections to identify pest infestations and entry points, apply approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) following safety standards, educate customers on prevention, schedule follow-up appointments, assist with sales to current and new customers, maintain and safely operate equipment (including a company vehicle), and adhere to local/state/federal regulations and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Related experience and/or training in pest control (preferred)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Ability to follow product label instructions and safety protocols
- Work inside and outside in various climates
- Provide customer-facing explanations of pest control solutions
- Willingness to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
- Ability to operate company-provided vehicle safely
