Job Summary
Pest Control Service Technician responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Work closely with other technicians within location on inventory and office upkeep; recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance to new and existing customers; complete scheduled customer appointments on time per company policies and local regulations; serve as the subject matter expert for selecting the most efficient pest solution for each customer; use all safety equipment; maintain vehicle, uniform, paperwork, and literature; stay focused on duties during work hours and follow supervisor directions. Key skills include strong communication and customer service, ability to lift up to 50 lbs and kneel/bend, attention to detail, and readiness to undergo background checks and drug screening; No formal pest control license required, with pest control experience or license being preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record
- Pass a background check and drug screen
