Job Summary
Manage a pest control route and conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections for pests. Communicate effective solutions for customer needs ranging from one-time treatments to continual maintenance and provide timely estimates. Apply pesticides according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions while safely setting and removing rodent traps, wasp, hornet, and bee nests. Maintain inventory of pesticides and supplies, respond to routine customer questions promptly, and assist with generating new sales leads. Perform any other duties assigned by the manager. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 80 lbs required. Education and training provided on-the-job.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person
- Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills
- Ability to lift to 80 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Self-motivated
- Valid Driver's license with good driving record
- Pass a background check, drug screen and physical exam
Desired Qualifications
- Pest Control experience preferred
