Job Summary
Pest Control Technician Trainee in San Diego, CA, participating in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques; establish relationships with commercial customers (hospitality/foodservice); stay current on Ecolab product and service offerings; work under supervision to deliver high-quality field service and develop licensing/certification for pest control; overnight shift with on-call and travel as needed, and obtain required state/local pest licensing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of work or military experience
- Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
- Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends as needed
- Position requires obtaining pest certification and/or business licensing pursuant to state/local law
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
- Background check as part of offer process
- Drug test including THC for customer credentialing per customer requirements
