Job Summary
Pest Control Technician Trainee at Ecolab in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques; establish effective working relationships with commercial customers (hospitality, foodservice); document pest issues and product/service offerings using handheld equipment; collaborate with customers on best practices to address pest elimination needs; obtain required pest control licensing and/or business licensing as mandated; position includes overnight schedule (9pm-5am) and opportunities to grow toward service, sales, or management roles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of work or military experience
- Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions
- Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends as needed
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing pursuant to state/local law
- Background check conducted on all candidates receiving a job offer
- Drug test including THC for all candidates who receive a job offer
